Right click on the file, scroll down the pop up menu and select open with and click on Word. If not encrypted, you should get a pop up that says Word will open/convert your file. Just click ok. This SHOULD work.
Once word is running go back to your Word, paste the document in to the box and press CTRL+v (Ctrl on OSX) to copy it to that clipboard. Once that is done, go to your clipboard and right-click on the clipboard icon and choose paste in. Now copy the document with the cursor in it and paste it into Word. Save as a PDF. Once done (it took me about 7.5 seconds), you will see the PDF in your Word document. Now you have a PDF ready for printing. It will open in any printer and can be copied & pasted. Hope this helps.
